I bought this app and im not impressed at all, the graphics are good, but trying to get the ball down the lane seems difficult to do. Not the best bowling app in my opinion!

Its just a bowling game, and not even a great one. The physics arent quite there. I give them credit for the extra work on environments and characters, but its unnecessary and slows the framerate.

Needs a lot of work to worth playing , sorry guys .

Totally immersive bowling experience that goes well beyond just bowling. Great special lanes, mini games, and unlockables! Plus its BEAUTIFUL!

Its nice to finally have a bowling game on iOS...a shuffleboard puck isnt quite the same as a bowling ball. That being said, this is actually a fun game...one annoyance is that when you pick up the bowling ball, you dont automatically face down the lane; you have to turn to face it. The other annoyance (non-gamebreaking) is that the skee-ball game in the Arcade is weird...one ball just rolls into existence at a time down the chute, and I would like nine all at once. Other than that, being able to walk around a bowling alley is awesome :)

Sound crashes needs fixing. Needs more ambient sounds for the alley. Wheres the snack bar?

Great game but there are glitches, when you borrow from the register and pay back you still get busted when you return to the alley and lose all your pro shop items. It also does not recognize the high scores on the other lanes sign says 137 high score...bowl 264 and it tells you you didnt beat your high score????. Get these fixed, great game if it worked correctly.

Great game with amazing side games

As a bowling game its really good. The graphics are top notch. Wish it ran a little smoother on the 4g, totally playable though. Is there a way to skip the long intro every time I start the game? Its annoying. Load times is the longest Ive seen in any game in the App Store. You sort of feel disconnected to your opponents because youre not actually playing them but trying to beat their previous high score. Youll hear taunts every now and then but not really enough to make it worthwhile. Beating their best time def speeds things up but more interaction in some way with your opponent would be nice. more taunts perhaps. Sometimes the game feels way too ambitious. Flick physics for speed and release, Im assuming, differs with each ball you use. Theres really no explanation about what ball does what exactly. Overall its a good bowling game that has huge potential. Keep up the good work! *if you want to earn more money score as lousy as possible on practice & challenge mode. You only earn money each time you beat your highest score.

Ive been playing, and for the most part loving, this game for a couple days. It does a masterful job of recreating the experience of being in a 1960s style bowling alley (Im old enough to remember that experience), and the variety of bowling settings and the graphical quality of their depictions are big positives. The "hate" part of my relationship with this game relates to the bowling mechanism. Unless you are using the "arrow" ball, which always goes in the direction youre aiming, it is extremely hard to control the path of your ball. If you swipe even slightly to the left or right, balls veer away from your intended direction. The developer should recode this, perhaps by allowing swipes that are only a few degrees off center to be detected as straight up swipes. There are also bugs, including occasions when a strike results in leaving a single pin, and times when the game freezes after the Roswell challenge. This has the potential to be the best bowling game in the App Store, and even one of the most enjoyable games in the store. I hope the brilliant and extremely talented developer will invest the time to make a few improvements.

I am really amazed that this was made by one person. Im also a developer and I cant imagine the time that went into this. Very.... Very... Fun game. My only complaint is I wish there was music when your playing... Maybe a jukebox in the corner would really bring the bowling ally alive... Otherwise I LOVE IT!

I think its funny how many times the game creator brags throughout this game that it was one guy who made it. Yeah, I can tell. The premise is awesome, a full experience of being at the lanes for sure... Until you realize theres no ambient sound and the characters will freeze in place. The whole place goes completely static and silent. Eerie. Not to mention all the glitches with the ball disappearing, and game crashing here and there. Anyways, this lone creator guy should get some buddies to really polish this game and squash all the bugs. Also, throw in some other themed lanes to walk in and explore aside from the first one.

Im not sure how anyone rated this game 4 or 5 stars. They obviously arent bowlers. This game is awful! Biggest waste of $2 Ive spent in the App Store, and Ive bought a lot of nonsense. Where to start.... First things first, I have yet to find a bowling game since Brunswick Pro Bowling left the App Store that has any sort of realistic pin physics. And here is no exception: the pins just fall over, there is no true collision detection or lift in the pins at all. The ball rotation is almost non-existent, as the ball seems to stay still the entire way down the alley. I threw it in the gutter on purpose and it popped out halfway down the lane. the swiping is totally off, the pins dont even look real. I played 5 frames and I will never play this game again. Whoever created this game should remove it from the App Store. I am an avid bowler, and this is honestly a pathetic excuse for any kind of bowling simulator. Im teaching myself how to create Apps, and I promise I will come out with the best bowling game yet, and I wont charge $1.99 for it either. Please do not waste your money on this app! If you want to have fun bowling, you are better off doing the real thing.

My son is obsessed with bowling, this is his favorite by far! Awesome game, would definitely recommend purchasing.

This app would probably be better if it could correctly add your score. No matter how good or bad the graphics may be, it has to score it correctly first.

It is a good bowling game on its own. Swiping to curve the ball is too sensitive and gutters too easily. The graphics are sharp and has a really good frame rate on iPhone 5. Even the alleys are very detailed, I think the color palette is a bit gloomy and dull, though. Also, the lanes can use a bit more ambient music and noises. It is too quiet and almost feels like it is haunted. Waiting for good news on the next update.

Theres not a lot of content in this game. When you finally purchase all the good items and get bored of the mini-games, unlock the other content thats it - it doesnt take long before you find yourself searching for something else to do. Looks great but needs more content! For the price its not worth it IMO.

I like how they put a spin on the whole bowling experience, above average graphics easy and entertaining and they ask if u would leave a rating which I thought was cool that they didnt stop the game in the middle of playing

Controls are terrible. Very hard to get around and very difficult to play. Controls are very sensitive. Play is very slow. Could I get my money back?
